It's essential to be honest and transparent while answering HR questions. You can explain that you took some time off after completing your MCA to explore various career options, learn new skills, or deal with any personal or family issues. You can also mention that during this time, you may have done some freelance work, taken up some online courses, or volunteered for a cause. It's crucial to highlight your strengths and showcase any relevant experience you have gained during this time.

To prepare for the HR round, you can focus on the following tips:
  1. Research the company: Make sure you have a good understanding of the company's vision, mission, and culture. It will help you align your answers with the company's values.
  2. Prepare for common HR questions: HR questions are usually behavioral-based questions that aim to assess your personality, skills, and experience. Prepare answers for common HR questions like "Tell me about yourself," "What are your strengths and weaknesses," "Why do you want to work for this company," and "Where do you see yourself in five years."
  3. Practice your answers: Practice your answers with a friend or family member to improve your confidence and clarity of thought. Ensure your answers are concise, to the point, and relevant to the question.
  4. Highlight your achievements: It's essential to highlight your achievements, skills, and experiences during the HR round. Make sure to provide specific examples that demonstrate your skills and achievements.
  5. Ask relevant questions: Prepare a few questions to ask the HR interviewer that demonstrate your interest in the company and the job role. It will also help you get more information about the company's expectations and work culture.
Remember, the HR round is an opportunity for you to showcase your skills and experience to the potential employer. By preparing well and presenting yourself confidently, you can make a positive impression on the interviewer.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
