I am a middle class girl.I completed my 10th in hindi midum school.Now i am doing my 10+2 in xaviers college.My english is not very flount .

Airline industry is one in which every employee is paid very high. Air-hostesses are also paid handsomely.For becoming an Air hostess, communication, specifically English communication will be a major factor.There are lots of institutes which are providing training for candidates interested in this field.You can join one of them and try to reach your goal.These institutes also provide placement options, so that you will not have to run around in search of jobs.These institutes will train you all areas required to be a successful air hostess.

Don't worry about that.....If your english is not fluent, you can join a spoken english class.

After completing your 12th, you will be eligible for doing a diploma course in air hostess training.

After joining, you have to learn the following things under the training academy...

1.First Aid Training,
2.Grooming,
3.Spoken English,
4.Business English,
5.Airport and In-flight Practical Orientation,
6.Practical Training on Fidelio and Galelio,
7.Swimming.

Some other criteria to become an air hostess:

Age: Age should below 25 years of age

Height: at least 154.5-157.5 cms tall..
(Weight and height should be proportionate with good eyesight of 6/6 uncorrected vision in both eyes.)

So if you fulfill the above criteria, then you are eligible to become an air hostess...
A fresher may earn anywhere between 16,000 and 30,000 Rupees.

i am 17 years old n doing my 2,,, i want to become an airhostess after completing my school,,, my height is 5"4' with weight 51kgs,,,,, am built slim n attractive,,,. i'll b joining frankfinn institute after my board xms....
is that a right place to look for????

nd my vision is not upto 6/6,,, my eyesight is litle weak,,,, so am just confused what to do now???
will i not be able to achieve my goal due to my weak eyesight now?????

by studying 2 from commerce can i do the trainning for air hostess

in my opinion frankfinn is not the institute u r looking for .They are not good in training and placements ok?

To become an air hostess you need to be a 12 pass out or you should have a graduation certificate preferably on hotel management or tourism.

Age should be below 25.

Height should be more than 157.5 cms.

Eyesight should be clear and status unmarried.

The ability to communicate properly and pleasant personality is also an important criteria here.

Selection procedure includes screening test, then written exam and group discussion and personal interview.

Jet airways, kingfisher airlines, indian airlines are some of the top recruiters.

See normally when the air hostess are recruited, two things that are checked primarily are that how good is your English, and the second is what height you have and how is your personality. Air Hostesses require a flair personality complemented by a good height. In fact mostly air hostess candidates suffer rejection due to less height. So if you belong to that genre, then do not go for air hostess jobs. Now if the problem is just due to English, then hire some private tutor, who will teach the common English communication way. Or you can enroll yourself in some Spoken English classes. Then you can opt for such jobs.

you are eligible for becoming airhostess because they want a
girls :-
1. beautifull or good looking
2. having confidence on there face always
3. passed 12th with any stream and any percentage
4. know how to speak in english and hindi both

there is not any entarance exam but there is a interview
which is very hard to clear but only by 2 or 3 thing you can
clear the interview
1. communication
2.how you have dressed your self
3.confidence
you have to show that no one is more than you

Dear, you can enroll to become an Air Hostess after 12th.Other eligibility requirements are as follow-

Your age should be between 17-24 years.
Height must be between 157-175 centimeters.
Your weight must be proportional to your height.
Knowledge of English Language is must.

As you have mentioned you are not fluent in English so it will be better if you join any English speaking course as soon as possible.
