I'm Dinesh Kumar and I have qualified graduation in Arts stream and have a basic knowledge of Computer Science. Am I eligible for Motor Surveyor licence for insurance companies? Please tell me can whether I can appear in Motor Surveyor examination or not?

In order to get licence , one has to enroll as Trainee surveyor with IRDA and complete a one year training under senior surveyor.
After completing the training , one can appear for surveyor exam which is conducted every 3 months .

Those who have B.tech/diploma in automobile or mechanical stream can become motor surveyor.
