What is the standard age criteria for 10th Board exam under CBSE Board curriculum?
My son was born on 29th January, 2006. Is he eligible for class 10th Boards examination under CBSE Board curriculum in the academic year 2020? Is there any relaxation for any caste group?

The minimum age to appear in CBSE Class 10th board examination is 14 years as on the 1st October of that year in which the candidate has got admitted to his/her Class 10th.
So, having born on 29.01.2006, your son is not eligible for appearing in the CBSE Class 10th 2020 board examination, as his age will be under 14 years by the 01.10.2019. For more details regarding the CBSE board examinations, you can refer to the link www.cbse.nic.in. |
