Hi, I have received my Madhyamik (10th) marks sheet and pass certificate. However, there is error in my father's name which has been miss-spelled. What should I do now? How can I apply for correction?

You can change the name of your father which is misspelled in your 10th certificate. You will have to proceed legally and officially.

Change Name In Education Certificate
- Make an affidavit through local notary about change of your name with explanation of reason.
- Publish the change of name at least two local newspaper one in english newspaper and another in regional newspaper.
- Notify in official gazette of state your reside in. It is done at government gazette office.
- Verification will be done by department of commerce and transport secretary.
- After getting approval letter, you should reach to your educational institute or board and provide approval letter of change your name with all supporting documents.
- Educational Institute and Board will proceed and issue you a new certificate and result with change your name based on approval letter and supporting documents.
