Can we join Indian Army on the basis of Polytechnic Diploma course?


Sir, I have completed my Polytechnic Diploma course in Mechanical Engineering which I started after passing my 10th Board exams. So, now am I eligible to join Indian Army? At which post can I join and how can I apply?

Yes you can apply. Indian Army exams are conducted by Central govt and SSB and the eligibility criteria is to have a degree certificate from a recognised university. Sometimes it needs to secure a minimum 50% marks to be eligible to sit for tge exam.

----Yes,you can join Indian Army on the basis of Polytechnic diploma course but only for some few posts.

--If you need some Higher post in Indian Army, graduation is must.

--After polytechnic diploma,you have to appear the emtrance exam namely as NDA conducted by Upsc twice a year.

Yes, you can join Indian army by Polytechnic
Indian Army recruits candidates with Diploma in Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering in Military Engineering Services (MES) in the rank of Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO). This exams SSC call application on every year during the month of January.
