specializations in this field like pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, sports physical therapy, neurology, clinical electrophysiologic and cardiopulmonary therapy
.but in INDIA its value not so good .You get job in hospitals and earn up to 15000 starting and with experience salary reach up to 30000.

Hai,

Physiotherapy is a physical procedures used in the treatment of patients with a disability, disease, or injury to achieve and maintain functional rehabilitation.
The demand of a physiotherapist is similar to other medical professionals.
To make a good career out of it, one must go for degree programme rather going for short term courses in the same.
A qualified Physiotherapist can work in hospitals of both private and government bodies, rehabilitation center of physically and mentally challenged people and other similar institutions.
Like any other professional, a physiotherapist can work independently and earn enough to maintain a standard living.

DO all of you who have written its a good career really mean it or you are saying all this because you are now a part of physiotherapy. deep down we all know its a good course but not up to the level that one can make his standard of living, th ekind of controversies we have regarding the independant practice and the speed with which the no. of physios are growing, the jobs are less. One has to work hours and hours to earn mere 12,ooo bucks, its not an appropiate field i guesss.
