Education Qualification for applying in JTO-Telecom

Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equivalent Engineering degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized engineering college/university:
i. Telecommunication,
ii. Electronics,
iii. Radio,
iv. Computer,
v. Electrical.
vi. Information Technology

Candidates appearing in the final year degree examination may also apply provided they possess the required educational qualification.

JTO i.e Junior Telecom Officer Exam conducted By Board Of BSNL.

BSNL is currently having three Exams 1.Telecom 2. Civil & 3.Electrical

Bsnl jto exam is very demanding these days, the eligibility criteria for this exam is given below:
ELIGIBILITY:
For appearing for the BSNL JTO you must have engineering graduate in electronics and communication or computer/IT branch.
The age limit should varies from 21-30 for the general candidates.

So if you fulfill these eligibility criteria then you can apply for this jobs.

Age: The applicant for JTOs(Telecom), JTOs(Civil) and JTOs(Electrical) should not be more than 30 years of age on the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates. However, this age is relaxable as per standing instructions on this subject for:-
i) Govt. servants upto 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Central Govt.;
ii) BSNL employees upto 5 years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the BSNL;
iii) For Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes candidates upto 5 years;
iv) For OBC Candidates upto 3 years;
v) For General Category PH candidates upto 10 years ; (for SC/

Eligibility criteria for BSNL JTO

For the written test, the candidate must be over 21 years of age and be less than 30 years. Age upper age limit is relax able by 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

JTO divided into : JTO Telecom, JTO Civil and JTO Electrical.

For JTO Telecom 2011 exam, one must have an ngineering/Technology
degree in any of the following streams Electronics, Telecommunications,
Radio, Computers, Electrical or Information Technology.

For JTO Civil 2011 examination , one must have a Civil Engineering degree.

For JTO Electrical 2011 exam,one must have an Electrical
Engineering/Technology degree.

BSNL i.e Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is currently having three Exams 1.Telecom 2. Civil & 3.Electrical
BSNL conducts this exam once in three years.last time JTO was held in 2009 and next will be in 2012.

Eligibility:-

Eligibilities for BSNL JTO (Telecom):

To appear for the JTO exam it is a must that the candidate should have completed either Bachelors in Engineering or Bachelors in Technology. It is a must that the course should be pursued from a recognised institute. The candidate should have specialised in any of the areas like Telecommunications, Computers, Electronics or Radio Engineering. Also it is a must that the candidate should be at least 21 years of age. Even final year students can appear for this exam. So sure you can appear for the exam in 2011. This is provided you have chosen any of the streams mentioned during graduation.
