can i do ma(economics) or M.Com through distance learning from Eiilm university,sikkim,is it recognised by ugc.

Well dear its depends on your previous degree and moreover on your interest. Both lines have almost same scope. But M.COM will be much better because after this you'll be eligible to apply for jobs in various finance departments also. But it doesn't mean that M.A. (Economics) has less demand. It's also demanding course in the Corporate sector. You should give preference to your interest.
