Second you have to reduce Stage Fear. This can be done my talking in front of the people on the stage. As a student of Engineering you must be able to present a ppt or poster,so make a note of FEST helding colleges and try to give there, that will be very helpful for u fluency and Personality Development.
you must also be able to solve logical & aptitude questions which will be useful for placement written exam.finally you must be all rounder that is must have the capacity to proceed according to the situation.......

hi...Generally it had been seen that in the engineering colleges the students are having very good technical skills but lack the communication and presentation skills and hence are not able to express there views in an effective manner and hence soem times loosing the kind of appreciation they really deserve ,
its an very good thinking on your part that you are intereted in improving your communication skills being in colleges itself it will surely help you in the long run in your career and also in your personal life also because it has been seen the engineering students are not so good with comminicating with the peopel of opposite sex ,
the first thing what you can do to improve your communication skill is to start conversing with your friends only in english this will surely make you well conversed with the language and you will feel with ease furing times of presenation,
also you should try to participitate in as many paper presentations and various other programs like debate and elocutions to remove away your dtage fear and also improving your confidence because its not easy to speak by seeing in the eyes of many people so it requires lota of practice and improves with practice

this is a very good task that you have opted now............to increase your soft skills and presentation just try to talk in yourself and in a manner by supposing that you are talking to your sir or any senior person..............ask the interview question to yourself.........and answer to yourself in another way.........by this way you can improve your presentation skills...

participate in presentations that happened in your collage or another collage...
