i am doing b.tech in production engg. am i eligible in iist
production engg. is similar to mech. engg. courses in both branches are very similar.
please tell me

IIST offers various UG & PG courses. UG admission will be available based on entrance JEE Advanced & PG will be available based on GATE.

IIST Eligibility

UG Course
- You must have passed with at least 70% aggregate in PCM as a main subjects from a recognized board.
- Your age should be less than 25 years on 1st October of the examination year.

PG Course
- You must have passed bachelor's degree with at least 6.5 CGPA out of 10 from a recognized university.
- Your age should be less than 28 years on 5th may of the examination year.

IIST Application Procedure
- Visit the site : www.admission.iist.ac.in
- Fill the details in application form.
- Download the challan & print it.
- Remit the application fee.
- Log In & Enter the bank transaction details.
- Upload the scanned photograph & signature.
- Submit your application.

IIST Admission Procedure
- Appear entrance exam for IIST admission.
- Apply for IIST.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
- If selected , Your IIST admission is final.
