The above examination which was scheduled to be held on 11th, 12th, 13th May, 2012 will be held on 6th, 7th & 8th July, 2012.

Information About KPS Exam:

KPS stands for Krishi Proyukti Sahayak and this is conducted by the west Bengal public service commission for requiting the various posts and according to public service commission, the krishi projukti sahayak exam will be conducted in the Month of 6, 7, 8th july.

This exam will consist of only one paper and this paper sub divided in in two parts,Part-I & Part-II and syllabus for this examination are given bellow..

Part – I Syllabus :
----------------------

1.English : Fundamentals of the English Language such as Vocabulary, Grammar, Sentence Structure, Synonyms, Antonyms and its correct usage etc. would be tested.
2.General Studies : Science,current events and problems with special reference to India, elementary knowledge of Indian History and Indian Geography including Agriculture and Agricultural conditions in India.
3.Arithmetic : Divisibility, Fractions, Decimals, Recurring Decimals, Simplifications, H.C.F., L.C.M., Partnership, Average, Ratio and Proportion, Percentage, Simple Interest, Profit & Loss, Time & Distance, Area of Rectangles and Squares.

Part-II Syllabus:

1.Drafting of a report in English
2.Translation from Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali into English.
3.Drafting of a report in Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali
4.Translation from English into Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Nepali.
