Dear friend it is matter of pride for you that you are interested in IAS exam . First of all you have to choose two subjects in whom you have to appear in this exam . These subjects can be of any stream and any subject of your choice .You have not mentioned that in which subjects you have made up your mind to appear, then how can one suggest you of good books, however i suggest you to join any good coaching center for preparing this exam .coaching centers at Delhi are well known for their quality like Chankayas academy . dear friend you first tell us about the subjects . then any of of members from the forum will certainly guide you in this exam

For IAS preparation, you can refer to 'The Pearson CSAT Manual 2011 by Edgar Thorpe'
The cost of the book is about Rs.893/-

The Hindi version of the same book is Pearson 'Civil Seva Prarambhik Pariksha Kosh 2011 (CSAT Manual)' and cost is same.

I suggest these books, as these have latest information is very updated and you will find everything that you require for your preparation.

Hello,
Basically IAS exam paper consists of general awareness questions, so there is no such specified syllabus for IAS exam.
The paper consists of the combination of 25 subjects including maths and english.
You can purchase the 10 years solved paper for IAS for the better preparation.
Good luck!!!!
