I.F.S is Indian Forest Service.
I am happy to inform you that you can apply for I.F.S exam after passing engineering after passing 3rd year.

I.F.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.

Important date for I.F.S exam:-
> Date of Notification:- 31-03-2012
> Last date of submission of form:-30-04-2012
> Date Of exam:- 14-07-2012

Yes,sure you can apply for.
For exam like IFS, which are conducted by UPSC ,needs a cnadidate to be in final year or completed his engineering degree from a recognized university. Visit upsconline.nic.in for upcoming notifications

Dear Aspirant

Yes of course...you can apply IFS i.e. Indian Foreign Service while in Final year of engineering course.

Indian Foreign Service is a Part of Indian Civil Services. To join it you have to Crack Civil Service Examination conducted by UPSC once in a year.

For Civil Service Exam your Age should be in between 21 to 30 years.
(Age should be 21 to 35 for OBC, 21 to 35 for SC/ST categories)
