sir, i have just completed my bsc in zoology honours...i am getting 53% marks..i m very much confused about my carrer...what should i do after it....i want 2 build my carrer within kolkata....plz help me out....

You have the option to continue your studies or to go for a job. It is advisable to go for higher studies to have a better academic record. You can change your stream if you are not interested in this area. Like you can go for MBA or M.Sc in any subject of your interest. If you want to enter teaching field you can go for B.Ed too. You will find job opportunities in agricultural departments, forest departments, nutrition and health departments etc. You need to appear for the UPSC and PSC exams for the same.

In current scenario, there is a less scope for the candidates after completion of their Graduation or Post Graduation in Zoology.

Many of the candidates after completion of their Graduation in Zoology are shifting towards other courses rather than carrying out their Post Graduation in Zoology.

So, if you have profound interest to do your Post Graduation in Zoology, I suggest you to opt for
-M.Sc in Zoology

You can also pursue your M.Sc in other life science related subjects like
-Biotechnology
-Botany
-Biochemistry
-Microbiology etc.

If you complete M.Phil and Ph.D courses, then you are going to have good career as a Scientist.

Opting for MBA course is also a good choice for you. MBA candidates are having plenty of job opportunities in variety of business sectors.

Only thing is that the candidate should possess sound subject knowledge and should be strong enough in communication skills.

You can also prepare and appear for various competitive exams like
-Bank PO exams
-CDS exam
-Civil Services Exam etc.

The admission to MBA course will be given on the basis of performance in any of the following Entrance Exams like
-CAT
-MAT
-GMAT
-SNAP
-XAT etc.

In order to give admission for M.Sc courses, each and every university will conduct its own entrance exam.

Choose the career option which best suit profile and where you can better utilize strengths and opt for the same.

You have to prepare for upsc,psc ,ssc ,bank , rail with some coaching classes
