I am studing in 11th commerce my age is 17 yrs and i want to join indian army . can i join indian army after 12th?. please me soon answer...

Yes you can join Indian Army after passing 12thboard examination.

UPSC conducts NDA&NA Examination twice a year generally for recruiting in all the three
wings of defence i.e. Army, Air Force and Navy.

For other two wings of defence one is required to have passed 10+2 board exam with
Physics, Chemistry and Maths. subjects but for Indian Army 10+2 qualification in any
stream (Science/Arts/Commerce) is applicable.

You can apply for the exam during studying in 12th also.

The maximum permissible age to be eligible for the exam, is 19 years.

The questions in the comes from English, Mathematics, General Science and Genral Awarness .

Commerce student can join Indian Army through NDA exam after completing 10+2.

For joining Indian Army through NDA exam the age should be between 16 1/2 and 19 years .

Only unmarried males are allowed to join through NDA exam.

NDA is National Defence Academy situated at Khadakvasla in Maharashtra.

To get into NDA you have to cross some hurdles which will be a objective type paper, SSB interview and medical examination.

Objective type paper has two Paper I and II having questions from Maths and General Aptitude. This objective type paper is of 900 marks.

When you clear this objective type paper with good marks you will be shorlisted for SSB interview.

SSB interview has some Group Tests, Psychological tests and Interview. SSB also carries 900 marks.

In the end merit is prepared for those who have passed the above tests.

The vacancies are filled in order of the merit.

You should be medically fit otherwise you will not be allowed to join NDA.

In NDA you will pursue your Graduation and after that you will have to complete your training from IMA Dehradun.

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for the Indian army after completing 11th standard. You must complete the 12th standard to eligible for the indian army.

To join the indian army you need to apply for the NDA exam. NDA stands for National Defence Service. This exam conduct union public service commission two times in a year.

To apply this exam first you need to satisfy the below eligibility criteria.

You must complete the intermediate with any stream from any recognized university to join the indian army.

To join the navy and indian air force you need physics chemistry and mathematics subjects compulsory in 12th standard.

Candidate minimum age is above 16.5 years and maximum age limit is below 19 years. And no age relaxation applicable for the other categories.

Male candidates are eligible for this exam and candidate should be unmarried. And female candidates are not eligible.

No limit for appearing this exam.

Candidate should be physically and medically fit for this exam.

To fill this all eligibility you can apply for this exam. And the selection process is three ways
