Gitam Institute of Foreign Trade is situated in Vishakhapattanam. The Institute offers a two year program in International Business. The admission to the institute consists of two phases. The first phase is a screening test followed by the second phase which consists of a Group Discussion and an Interview. The Common Entrance Test (CAT) conducted by the IIMs is used as the screening test for admission to the institute. However the IIMs play no rule in the selection process of the Institute. Students are shortlisted on the basis of CAT score and the shortlisted candidates are called for the GD and Interview. Students should concentrate on CAT and should understand the pattern of this test clearly. Lots of practice is the key to crack this test. Students should solve as many previous papers as they can.
