Obstetrics & Gynaecology shortly called as OB/GYN, Obs & Gynae or O&G or OBG are the two surgical medical specialties dealing with female reproductive organs in pregnant and non-pregnant women respectively and these two are normally formed as single medical specialty at the PG level medical course.

Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynaecology is a two-year PG medical diploma course being taken up mostly by women medical students as their PG level of study course. Even some men candidates too take up this course.
