Medical Colleges:

Of the three Government medical colleges in the city of Raipur, only one college is meant for Allopathic medical education and this college offers MBBS course at the UG level. At the PG level, the college offers Master of Science in Radiotherapy Technology and MD/MS in different disciplines of medicine. For admission to the MBBS course offered by the college, candidates must qualify in the Chhattisgarh Pre-Medical Test and candidates belonging to other states will have to qualify in the All India Pre-Medical Entrance Examination.

The other two government colleges are meant for Ayurvedic medical education and they offer Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medical Science course.

Dental College:

Government Dental College in the city of Raipur offer Bachelor of Dental Surgery and this course is offered by the college with approval from Dental Council of India. The intake capacity of the college for this BDS course is 100 students per year.

Nursing College:

Government College of Nursing in Raipur offer Bachelor of Science in Nursing course with an intake capacity of 60 students. The college is offering dental education with affiliation from Pandit Ravishankar Shukla University located in this city.

New Government Engineering College offers Bachelor of Engineering course in different branches like:
