How to Prepare for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test?
The Karnataka Common Entrance Exam is carried out for the admission of students into the Medical, Engineering and Dental courses. Students can also write this exam as to get admitted into the Technology courses. The minimum qualification that is needed by a student to appear for his exam is a pass in class 10+2.
Structure of the Karnataka CET exam
The Karnataka common entrance test will comprise of objective type questions. The duration of each paper will be 70 minutes. Each subject question paper is in 16 diverse versions. Each version will comprise of 60 questions and each question will include four different choices. Negative marking is there for incorrect answers. Students will get 1 mark a piece for every right answer they provide and for every incorrect answer, quarter marks will be taken away.

Reference books for the Karnataka CET exam
For the Biology section, refer to the books by Nair PKG, for physics refer to Agarwal PK, for maths book by Arora OP is appropriate and for chemistry Ravinder Chadda. Also there are books by Chandresh Agrawal.
Study plan for the Karnataka CET Test
The candidate can refer NCERT guide for preparation. This consists of many objective type questions and model papers. They should spend time for each subject and cover all the portions. In the end of each unit completion, the candidate can exercise some tests. After their complete preparation, they can try out this model paper. This will help them to know their preparation level and thus they can rectify their mistakes. The candidate can find lot of question papers and mock tests in online. They should commence their preparation at the earliest. By this way, they will get more time to practice mock tests as well they can complete their portions soon. The candidate can clear their doubts using online forums.
