IDB Scholarship for Professional Courses

Students applying for IDB scholarship (for professional UG courses) must satisfy the following conditions.

They should have studied the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics in HSC and have obtained a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in these subjects.

• Students pursuing Business Administration (BBA) and Law courses must have obtained at least 60% marks in English and optional/elective subjects selected in HSC.
• Age of the applicant should be less than 24 years
• They should not be recipients of any other scholarship
• Applicants must be financially weak and must be a merit seat holder
• After completion of studies, students must take on to serve their country or community

Eligible candidates must submit printed or hand written applications to the address mentioned by IDB. Application forms can be collected from the website of Muslim Education Trust, under which IDB functions.

IDB Scholarship for Ph.D Courses

Eligibility Criteria for Ph.D students applying for IDB scholarship include the following

• Must have M.Sc degree in science/technology
• Preferable to have at least 2 years of work experience in science/technology
• Preferable to have proven conduct of research or publications in science and technology
• Must possess research proposal in a specific field of study relevant to country’s development
• Age less than 35 years
