Accounting and Finance for Managers is one of the papers taught in the Masters in Tourism Management program of IGNOU. It is a very important subject for the future Tourism Managers. This paper has theoretical part along with some sums based on it.

Division of paper:

There is only one section which contains all the 10 questions. However, the candidates don’t have to answer all of them. They have to answer any 5 questions of their choice from those 10 questions.

Time and marks allotted for the examination:

The total time allotted for this paper is three hours and the maximum marks that can be secured in this paper are 100.

The Paper pattern:

The question paper is printed in English medium only. There are a total of ten questions in this paper of which one have to answer only five. Each question carries a maximum of 20 marks and the maximum marks that can be secured in this paper is 100. There is word limit for every question. The candidates are required to answer each and every answer in not more than six hundred words. There is no negative marking scheme for this paper.

The candidates are adviced to stick to the word limits and try to finish their answers within that word limit. If they need special credit then their answer should be to the point and their writing should be clear enough.
