Indian Institute of Management Calcutta conducts an admission process for admission to its PGPEX(Post Graduate Programmes for Executives) programme. IIMC was founded as the first National Institute for Postgraduate studies and research in management by Government of India with the support of Alfred P. Sloan School of Management (MIT), the Government of West Bengal, The Ford Foundation and Indian industry.

IIMC’s PGPEX course is a one year programme specially meant for working executives with over 5 years of work experience. Admission to PGPEx programme of IIMC is based on GMAT score, Past Academic Performance, Work Experience, Interview and recommendation letters from two referee having senior managerial or academic posts.

Candidates have to download the application from along with the admission brochure from the website www.iimcal.ac.in/pgpex. Candidates are advised to read each and every instruction very carefully before filling up the application form online. Candidates can also avail the application form through post.

For this, the candidates have to forward a requisite letter as well as a Demand Draft, drawn in favor of the Registrar of the Institute, to the concerned address. Candidates can also visit the Institute and apply for the Application Form directly either by paying up of cash or through the Demand Draft. The DD should be drawn in favor of the registrar of the Institute itself.
