Narmada Control Authority (NCA) was formed on 20th December, 1980, as per the guidelines and choice of the Narmada Water Disputes Tribunal (NWDT). The headquarters of the Authority is located at Indore. The Authority represents four States - Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan. The Authority receives equal fund from the four States.
