With the growing demand of engineers, the value of the engineering study is also increasing. The electrical engineering paper under Karnataka Public Service Commission being a key subject in the engineering study thus has wide importance. Students who have pursued Electrical Engineering gets very much benefit as they don’t have to put into extra efforts because most of the topics which are included in Electrical Engineering Syllabus for KPSC are covered during the four years of their Engineering.

Brief contents:

The main topics that are covered in this subject are networks, statics and magnetic, basic methods of measurements, electronics and electrical machines, control and communication systems, microwaves and DC amplifiers.

Total Marks and Time allotted for the exam

The paper is of 300 marks and the total time allotted for it is 3 hours.

Paper Pattern:

The paper is divided into four parts. Part A contains 20 marks, Part B is of 100 marks, and Part C and Part D are of 90 marks each. All the questions in the first three sections have to be answered. However, only three questions from the last section i.e. section D have to be answered. Section A has four questions of 5 marks each, section B has 10 questions of 10 marks each, section C has 6 questions of 15 marks each and the last section i.e. section D has five questions each of 30 marks out of which three have to be answered.
