Karnataka public service commission exam is conducted by the Karnataka government to get into the public sectors jobs. This exam is conducted for jobs in various departments of Karnataka government. To get law related jobs, candidates have to clear this law paper. This paper is provided in both English and Kannada. Answer must be written in the medium specified.

There are two papers of Law, Paper I and Paper II, and candidates who are opting for Law have to appear for both the papers.

How many sections are there in this papers?

This paper has four sections A, B, C and D.

Paper pattern and no. of questions asked:

This paper is divided into four parts with a total of 22 questions. All the questions in part A, B, and C are compulsory whereas candidates have to answer any three questions in part D. Part A consists of 1 question with 4 sub questions, part B contains 10 questions which have to be answered in 100 words, part C consists of 6 questions which have to be answered in 150 words and the last section have to be answered in 300 words.

Division of marks:

The whole paper is of 300 marks. Section A is of 20 marks with its 4 sub questions of 5 marks each. Section B consists of 100 marks having questions of 10 marks each. Section C has 6 questions of 15 marks each summing to a total of 90 marks. Section D is also of 90 marks with its three questions having 30 marks each.

Total time duration:

The allotted time duration is three hours.
