Know the subject

International economics deals with areas of economics that are related to international markets and the like. Many popular organisations have to be studied in the subject and this subject is very important especially for those who are planning to pursue a career in multinational companies. Things relating to foreign trade and protection policy are also discussed.

Arrangement of questions

There are not more than three sections in the paper. The paper has the questions printed in both Hindi and Kannada to make things a bit easy for the candidates. No MCQs are present in the paper and consists of both short and long answer type questions.  Four, six and eight questions are contained in the sections in the respective order. All the sections have to be answered but not all the questions within them need to be answered. The number of questions to be answered in a section will be printed at the head of the section.

Maximum marks

The total mark of the paper is 80 and requires a candidate to score a minimum of 35% to get through. Three hours is the duration of the paper.
