Rajasthan University of Health Sciences is a State University situated in the city of Jaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan. The university came into existence in the year 2005 on the 25th of February and it came into existence through the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences Act 2005. Even though, the university came into existence in the year 2005, it began its functions from the year 2006. As the name of the university implies, it is specially meant for offering education in the field of medicine and its allied disciplines. RUHS is a public university offering education from urban campus.
