The course is all about dealing with the study of environmental science, ecosystem, economics and management of fisheries and oceanography. A candidate willing to pursue for M. Sc in fisheries must be a science graduate or have a B. Tech degree. However few of the institutes restrict the graduation subject as fisheries or zoology.

It’s basically a 2 years course with regular examinations and tests.

The candidates after completing the course are welcomed as farm manager, hatchery manager, fisheries inspector or processing of stock and post harvest manager. The aquaculture technology eagerly waits for such candidates.
