Profile:

Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) was established on January 25, 1971 under Article 318 of the Constitution of India. Intially, prior to the establishment of the HPPSC, Union Public Service Commission served the needs of the state of Himachal Pradesh on request from the Government of the state of Himachal Pradesh with the approval of President of India.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply for the posts of Medical Officer in Himachal Pradesh (HP) Public Service Commission.

Eligibility:

Candidates should not be more than the prescribed age limit set for the post i.e. 45 years.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates are required to have a recognized medical degree alongwith rotatory internship for applying for the post of Medical Officer in Himachal Pradesh (HP) Public Service Commission.

No. of posts: Total 150 posts are available.

Pay Scale: Consolidated salary of Rs. 7880-13500 will be given to the selected candidates.

Selection Process:

Candidates will first have to face a written test and then a personal interview in order to get selected for the post of Medical Officer in Himachal Pradesh (HP) Public Service Commission.
