Admission Details for M.Tech Colleges in Hyderabad
Candidates who have completed B.E/ B.Tech in core branches with a minimum of 60 % marks in aggregate from a recognized University are eligible for admission. Candidates belonging to reserved categories are required to secure 55 % marks in aggregate. In addition to this, candidates are required to have a valid GATE score card. Non GATE candidates can also apply for the post graduate engineering courses in these institutes.
Most of the institutes consider GATE score for admission process. Apart from this, some institutes conducts their own entrance exams such as Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) and Postgraduate Entrance Examination (PGEE).
GATE qualified candidates will be given preference in admission process. If seats are remaining vacant, the institutes will consider candidates who have cleared state level entrance exams such as PGEE and PGECET etc. Final selection will be based on the composite scores obtained by the candidate in the qualifying exam, entrance test as well as in personal interview.
