The Peerless College of Nursing began its journey as the School of Nursing of ISO Certified Peerless Hospital & B.K. Roy Research Centre in the year 1994. The school was offering Diploma in nursing course until the year 2006 and during this year, the school was developed as the Peerless College of Nursing improving itself to offer UG course in Nursing.

This nursing college is approved by the Department of Health & Family Welfare of the Government of West Bengal and by the Nursing Council of India and West Bengal after physical verification.

Course details:

Peerless College of Nursing is offering Post Basic Bachelor of Science in nursing course with affiliation from the West Bengal University of Health Sciences. The duration of this course is two years and the approved admission capacity of the institution is 30 students per year.

Admission Criteria:

Peerless College of Nursing follows the following criteria for admission of students to the Post Basic B. Sc Nursing Course:

• Candidates must have to be G.N.M. Registered

• They will have to appear for the common entrance test conducted by the West Bengal University of Health Sciences

• Finally, selection of candidates for the Post Basic B. Sc Nursing course will be done based on counseling conducted by the affiliating university

Mode of payment of college fee:

Candidates selected for the Post Basic B. Sc Nursing course, will have to pay the appropriate fee prescribed by the college in four installments for the total duration of the course.

Mode of examination:

Candidates will be awarded with the Post Basic Bachelor of Science Nursing degree by the WBUHS after they get through the two examinations at the end of each year conducted by the university. For each of the subject, candidates will have to pass 75% of external examinations and 25% of internal examinations separately.
