Pilots, Indian Air Force
The Indian Air force is one of the elite wings of our country’s defence. It is a respected and supreme wing. The Indian Air Force has been safeguarding us from a very long time and it has been devoted for the safety and development of our nation.
Job profile: The pilots will be responsible for flying the most advanced air crafts in the Indian Air Force. They will be responsible for flying transport planes, choppers etc. They will be required to serve the country with full dedication, loyalty and enthusiasm.
Eligibility: A candidate must be between the age of 19 and 23 years. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules. A candidate must have a minimum height of 162.5 cms with a correlated weight and a leg length between 99 and 120 cms.
Educational Qualifications: A candidate must be a graduate in any discipline including B.E/B.TECH with a minimum of 60% from a recognized university/institute. A candidate must have passed physics and mathematics up to 12th standard. A candidate must not have any present backlogs.
No. of posts: There is no specified no. of posts but the selection is guaranteed for a deserving candidate.
Pay scale: The pilots will be given a pay scale of Rs15600-39100 plus a grade pay and other allowances as per the rules.
Selection process: The candidates will have to appear for the PABT test and the SSB test followed by a medical test (only for selected candidates) at the selection board of the Indian Air Force.
How to apply: The candidates are required to apply as per the format given on the website or in the advertisement. They have to send two self addressed envelopes with a stamp of Rs27 pasted on each envelope and two unattested photographs. The candidates must write the name of the course on the envelope. All the applications must be sent to Post Bag No. 001, Nirman Bhawan Post Office, New Delhi – 110106
The last date for the receipt of applications is 5th October 2009.
