Central University of Bihar (CUB) was established in 2009 by the Government of India under the Central Universities Act, 2009. The primary objectives of the University are to spread knowledge by providing instructional and research facilities, to improve the social and economic conditions of people, to improve welfare of the people, and to make intellectual, academic and cultural development.
The University also aims to take appropriate measures for promoting innovations in teaching-learning process and inter-disciplinary studies and research.
