Mangalam College of Engineering offers different scholarship programs to students and some of the top scholarship programs offered are – Merit Scholarship, Mangalam Employee Scholarship, and Blood Relative Scholarships. The eligibility criteria and benefits offered as part of the scholarship program will differ as per the specific scholarship program awarded to students. It is compulsory for students to qualify Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Entrance Exam (KEAM) to apply for all the above mentioned scholarship programs.

Scholarship details in Mangalam College of Engineering

Merit Scholarship

Merit scholarship is awarded to those students who have qualified and attended the Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Entrance Exam (KEAM) and secured a valid score in it. This scholarship is awarded to two categories of students based on KEAM entrance exam rank which is as follows –

• For students having scored KEAM entrance rank below 4,000 – In this category, the full tuition fees to be paid by the candidate including refundable caution deposit will be waived off. Other fees like caution deposits, hostel fees, and transportation fees need to be paid by the students.

• For students having scored KEAM entrance rank below 8,000 – In this category, 50% of the total tuition fees and refundable caution deposit will be waived off. On the other hand, students need to compulsory pay off hostel fees, transportation fees and other deposits separately.

Mangalam Employee Scholarship

This scholarship is mainly intended for the children of Mangalam group employees such as Mangalam daily, Mangalam educational institutions and other Mangalam group companies. Candidates need to obtain a KEAM entrance rank less than 20,000 to obtain this scholarship. It is also compulsory for students to score not less than 75% marks of the marks at 12^th class level. Students will get a 10% reduction in tuition fees as part of this scholarship benefit.

Mangalam Neighborhood Community development Scholarships for meritorious students

This scholarship will be awarded to those meritorious students who reside within 10 km radius of the Mangalam Institute. Students need to obtain a KEAM entrance exam rank within 8,000 – 15, 000 to become eligible to apply for this scholarship scheme. As part of this scholarship scheme, 10% of tuition fee of students will be waived off. It is compulsory to produce a recommendation letter from responsible authorities or reputed personalities like religious leaders, priest and swami to get considered for this scholarship program.

Siblings / Blood Relative Scholarships

This scholarship is mainly awarded to the siblings (brother/sister) or blood relatives of those meritorious students studying in Mangalam College of Engineering. In order to avail this scholarship amount, candidates need to attain a KEAM entrance exam score below 15,000. It is also compulsory to submit the original documents as evidence certifying the sibling relation along with the ID cards of the student as doing graduation course in Mangalam College of Engineering. The specified benefit of this scholarship amount includes a 10% reduction in the total tuition fees.

As a general rule for availing and continuing any of the scholarship programs offered by Mangalam college of Engineering, candidates need to score at least 60% marks in all semesters with out any supplementary papers.
