Company profile: The DOEACC society is an autonomous organization under the govt. of India (ministry of communications and information technology). It is a repute organization for providing high class education in the field of IT. The Shillong centre is the 12th centre of the DOEACC society. This centre also has the best facilities for training and education.  

Job profile: The scientist and technical assistants will be required to teach the students and give them the training in the IT area. They will also be required fro maintenance of hardware and software systems. They will also supervise the activities of their wing and technical staff.

Eligibility: The age limit for a scientist ‘C’ is 35 years, for a scientist ‘B’ it is 30 years and for a senior technical assistant it is 35 years.

Educational Qualifications:

For a scientist ‘C’ – A candidate must be a graduate with first class B.E/B.Tech with minimum 65% marks and with a minimum of 5 years experience or M.Tech/M.E/M.Design with a minimum of 3 years experience or PhD (Engg.) with a minimum of 1-year experience

For a scientist ‘B’ – A candidate must have a first class B.E/B.Tech degree with minimum 65% marks or M.Tech/M.E/M.Design or MCA/DOEACC ‘B’ Level with a minimum of 2 years experience.

For a senior technical assistant – A candidate must have B.E/B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc or DOEACC level ‘B’ or a diploma/BCA/B.Sc with a minimum experience of 5 years.

No. of posts: There is 1 post each for scientist ‘C’ and scientist ‘B’ and 3 posts for senior technical assistant. All the posts are for general category.

Pay scale: The pay scale for a scientist ‘C’ is Rs15600-39100 plus a grade pay of Rs6600, for a scientist ‘B’ it is Rs15600-39100 with a grade pay of Rs5400 and for a technical assistant it is Rs9300-34800 plus a grade pay of Rs4200.

Selection process: The selection of a candidate will depend on his/her performance in the interview and also on his qualifications and experience.
