Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, shortly called as DDUH is operating under the Government of Delhi and the hospital began its operations in the year 1970 as a 50 bedded hospital. In the year 1987, the hospital was developed as a 500 bedded hospital. The casualty department of the hospital began its functions in the year 1987 for daytime alone and it was converted as round-the-clock department from the year 1998.

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification & experience:

Senior Resident: Candidates must be PG Degree holders in appropriate discipline and candidates must have two years working experience after completion of MBBS. They should also be registered with Delhi Medical Council.

Junior Resident: Candidates must be MBBS degree holders and they must complete their internship before 30th June 2011.

Age Requirement:

Senior Resident:

For UR PG Degree holders – 33 years (SC/ST -38 years, OBC – 36 years)

For Ph. D Degree holders  - UR – 35 years, SC/ST – 40 years and OBC – 38 years

Junior Resident:

General category candidates must not be more than 30 years of age, 33 for OBC candidates and 35 for SC/ST candidates as on 1st of July 2011.
