Job Profile:

Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research is making recruiting of eligible candidates (candidates should be of Indian Nationals) on the posts of Senior Resident in the department of Anaesthesiology depending on their qualification and experience.

Eligibility:

The lower age limit set for the post of Senior Resident in Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research is 3 years. Relaxation of 5 years in prescribed age limit will be provided to the SC/ST candidates and relaxation of 3 years is available for the OBC category candidates.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates should be a registered medical graduate of a recognized university. Candidates are required to have done Post Graduate Medical degree or diploma in the concerned speciality i.e. Anaesthesiology. Candidates should also possess some years of experience in the relevant field for applying on the post of Senior Resident in Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research.

No. of posts: There are 17 posts available in total.

For the General Category candidates: 5 posts are available.
For the SC Category candidates: 4 posts are available.
For the ST Category candidates: 1 post is available.
For the OBC Category candidates: 7 posts are available.

Pay Scale: A consolidated amount of salary i.e Rs. 18750 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600 will be provided to the selected candidates. Other usual allowances per month will also be provided to the selected candidates.

Application Fee:

For General and OBC category candidates, the amount of application fee is Rs. 500. On the other hand, Rs. 250 is the amount of application fee that is need to be paid by SC/St candidates. The application fee must be submitted in the form of a Demand Draft only that should be made in favour of Accounts Officer, JIPMER, Puducherry - 605006 payable at SBI, JIPMER (Code No.b2238).

Selection Process:

Candidates will have to undergo both a written test as well as the personal interview test for getting selected on the specified post of Senior Resident in Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research. Candidate are required to qualify in both the examination otherwise they will not be considered for the respective post.

How to apply: Application must be made on a plain and neatly typed on A4 size paper. The dully filled in application form alongwith the attested copies of necessary certificates should reach to the folloing address before the last date for the reciept of application. Applications recieved after the due date will not be accepted by the institute at all.
