Institute profile: Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences is an autonomous institution under the govt. of NCT of Delhi. It is a premier institute for education and training in the field of liver sciences. Its main aim is to be a leader in providing medical care, education and research in the field of adult pediatric liver and biliary sciences. 

Job profile: The senior residents will be required to provide medical attention to the patients and also for preparing medical reports of patients under them and they will be required to report in case of emergency.

Eligibility: A candidate must not exceed the age of 35 years for the post of a senior resident. However, relaxation can be claimed as per the rules.

Educational Qualifications: A candidate must have a post graduate degree in the concerned discipline and must have completed the internship and must be registered with the MCI or the state medical council.

No. of posts: There are 15 posts in total which are divided among anaesthesia, intensive care and hepatology departments.

Pay scale: The senior residents will be given an approximate pay of Rs58305 (They will be given the pay band III with a grade pay of Rs6600.

Selection process: The candidates have to appear for an interview. The selections will be made keeping in mind the educational qualifications of an individual.

How to apply: The candidates are required to apply as per the format given on the website. The candidates are also required to pay a fee of Rs500 (Rs100 for SC/ST) in the form of a DD drawn in the favor of Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences payable at New Delhi. The candidates are required to appear for a Walk-In interview on 21st September 2009 at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences Vasant Kunj (New Delhi) by 2.00 PM and the applications must be submitted by 1.00 PM.
