ESIC is planning to recruit professionals for the position of Grade II Specialist in Junior Scale and here the details regarding the notification issued in this respect:

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 208, which is divided among ESI Hospitals functioning in different states in India as follows:

Specialists are required for different specializations like cardiology, blood bank, psychiatry, orthopedics, medicine, surgery, pediatric surgery, pediatrics, ophthalmology, ENT, dermatology, biochemistry, microbiology, radiology, pathology, obst. & gyne., pulmonary medicine and anesthesia. Pay Scale: Grade II Specialist (Junior Scale), will be coming under the pay scale of Rs.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of Rs.6600 plus Non-Practicing Allowance as applicable to analogous positions in the Central Health Service.

Eligibility requirements:

Qualification: Candidates must possess a recognized medical qualification included in the I or II schedule of the Part-II of III schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956. In addition, they must also possess as PG degree in the concerned specialty as given in the table-A of the notification page. They should have passed middle level examination in the official language of the particular state for which they are applying.

Experience: If the candidate possess five years experience if they are PG diploma course and three years experience if they are PG degree holders.

Age: Upper age limit is 45 years as on the 31st of January 2012, which is relaxble by five years for employees of ESIC or government servants. Upper age relaxation for reserved category candidates will be applicable as per government rules.

Application Fee:

Candidates falling under SC/ST/PWD category need not pay any application fee and application fee to be paid by other general category candidates is Rs.225. The fee should be paid in the form of DD to be submitted along with application drawn in favor of ESI Fund Account No.1 in any scheduled bank payable at the respective state in which the candidate wants to apply.

Duly filled in application as per the format given in notification page at http://www.recruitmentsnresults.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/01/ESIC.pdf, should be sent along with DD and other certificates in a cover super scribing ‘Application for the post of _______________’, “State Applied for ________________’, ‘Specialty Applied for __________’ by speed or registered post to the address applicable for appropriate states as given in the Table-B of notification page before the 31st of January 2012. Last date for submission of application to candidates belonging to far flung area is 07th of February 2012.
