Recruitment by Staff Selection Commission:

Staff Selection Commission is planning to held the All India Examination for recruitment of candidates for the position of Sub-Inspectors in Central Armed Police Forces and here are the details regarding the notification issued by the commission in this respect:

Name of the Vacancy: Sub-Inspector in CAPFs

Number of Vacancies: Total number of vacancies is 1857, which is divided among the different armed forces for which recruitment will be made is given below:

• Central Reserve Police Force – 559 (Male)

• Border Security Force – 280 (Male), 15 (Female)

• Indo-Tibetan Border Security Force – 470 (Male)

• Central Industrial Security Force – 480 (Male), 53 (Female)

Pay scale: Candidates appointed for the position of Sub-Inspector, will be coming under the pay band 2 with a pay scale of Rs.9300-34800 with Grade pay of Rs. 4200.

Eligibility requirements:

Education: As on the 16th of March 2012, candidates must be graduates in any discipline from a recognized university.

Selection Procedure:

Selection of candidates will be based on the written test followed by Physical Endurance Test, medical examination and interview/personality test. Application fee:

Application fee of Rs.100 should be paid by the candidates through CRF Stamp for application made off-line or through SBI challan or online payment can also be done through SBI for on-line application. Women candidates, SC/ST and EXS candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
