Subhatri Dental College is a centre for quality education, where in students are cultivated in the field of dentistry. The college offers dental education with affiliation from the Swami Vivekanand Subhatri University and with recognition from the Dental Council of India. The college offers UG course in dentistry and PG course in dentistry with eight different specialties. In addition, Ph. D course is also offered by the institution, it is recognized by the Indira Gandhi National Open University as a study centre for implant course.

Course duration and intake capacity:

The duration of the BDS course offered by the Subharti Dental College is five year and the intake capacity of the institution for this course is 100 students per year. As far as MDS course is concerned, the course duration is three year and the total intake capacity of the institution combining all branches of MDS is 25 students per year. The Duration of Dental Mechanic Course is two years and the approved intake capacity of the institution for this course is 20 students per year. The breakup of admission capacity of the institution for MDS (25 students per year) course is given below:

Library at the institution:

Subharti Dental College has a well-equipped library with a huge collection of books, national and international journals. Total number of books in the library is 5512 under 1446 different titles. The library is currently subscribing for 58 journals of which 16 are Indian journals and 42 are international journals. The library has facilities like question bank, online journals, internet facility and photocopying facility. The library is located in the campus of Subharti Dental College in a central place in such a way that it can be easily accessed by the staff members and students.

Other infrastructural facilities:

In addition to the library, there are also other infrastructural facilities in the campus of the college and they are hostels, dental museums and fully-furnished auditorium and lecture halls.
