Hence it is one of the major subjects in the BBA course offered by the Tamil Nadu Open University. What you are taught in this subject?

This subject consists of all those factors that have a bearing on the business. It gives an introduction to the internal and external environmental factors in which the businesses operate today. It addresses the key issues within economic, political and legal frameworks, as well as the impacts of social, cultural, technological and environmental developments.

Paper Pattern, Division of marks and time allotted:

The paper is of 75 marks and the total time allotted for it is 3 hours. There are two sections in this paper. The first section contains 15 marks whereas the second section carries 60 marks. The first section has 5 questions each of 5 marks of which any 3 needs to be answered. There are 7 questions in the second section each of 15 marks out of which any 4 needs to be answered.
