NO, You need 56% marks at least...... it is mandatory and has been trend of SSC

there is no sectional/individual cut off...just tweet ssc chief.he already reply on this topic.and down to all who post without having all the information.
cut off will be
60-65% for ur,
57-62% for obc,
53-58% for sc,
50-55% for st.
wanna know more????

my scores are tier 1 148 , maths 186 , english 130 ...total 464 out of 600....

accoring to previous trend of s.s.c cut off for general category to be called for interview may be as under :
For interview call - 360+
for selection as any post of inspector except income tax - 435 ( + or - 15 )
generally cut off for income tax is maximum
if posts for income tax remain around 200 then cut off for i.t may be - 500+

if it is true then there is a strong possibility to get your first preference if you get 65 marks in interview.

I think u r not a real examinee then u are expecting 450 out of 600. U know very well that in saas exam only cutoff is 411 at which just 329 candidates qualify at general standards. Then why you are airing rumours between real examinees you know how a candidate expect for exam and just in a minute the candidate like you spreading humour between candidate . If you can score this . Then what are u doing this time you have to be at that type of post earlier i think even in 2006 or 08/

it depends upon the no. of the students as well as the average marks

obtained by the students.

and the level of the question paper.

i think for general 420 is enough to get interview call .

the cutoff marks for such type of competitive exams are not fixed.the cutoff totally depends on the type of paper and the competition among the students.but since your are SC there is relaxation for you and you have afair chances of clearing the exam.

see your luck, may be less than 300, probably 320 for sc

for general 400
for SC 350
for ST 300
so dont worry,being ST with 330 in tier 2 can beat even General cat.

hi, I dont have any special info, but the ssc chairman said on twitter that the results would be out by 15th sep, and if the results are to be declared earlier that that he would tweet the same one day before the results. Cut off should be lower than 400, but cant exactly say how much.

i expect 110 in tier-1 & 90 in english and 130 in maths in tier-2. already the result have declared. i have not selected in the post of assistant grade,income tax inspector etc post. And also not qualified in tax assistant. As a SC candidate can i qualified in UDC,Junior Accountant,Auditor and Dvisional Accountant

what is the cut off for tier 1,tier 2, combined score and ultimately final score in the exam in order to be sure about the final selection for the post of income tax officer.

Shame to see that for a post ( income tax inspt) the cut off diff between ST and Gen. is 85 out of 700 no............... Do u know how many candidates were there between that difference ............It was 3472 General candidates............
This reservation system has paralyzed all reserved category instead of making them competent. If we provide all education facility even money for preparing of competitive exams then we would have accelerated SC, ST's competitiveness.............. but see what the hell we have done...........

Now I hate this reservation because of reservation u r slapping very hard on person's hard work ...just because he is not DALIT...........

It's shame on Indian policy makers that toady everybody wants to prove himself DALIT .....just because of spoon feeding ............
