I want to clear the railway exam but I can't join the coaching classes due to my financial problems. .
Can I prepare myself for railway exam without any other coaching?

For railway your minimum qualification need 10 to 10+2 , and for Banking you have to compleate your graduation with 55% marks minimum.

After that for railway exam you may follow
R.S.Agarwal , Khanna & Khanna or a book spasically for group-d.

for bank exam you may follow

Ruby Choudhary , and genaral knowledge,english and mathamatics.

Otherwise you may take coach from recognise coaching centers like Rice, Mise etc..

to prepare for Banking/Railway exam
for getting sucess in any bank or railway exam your general knowledge should be good so look at the current affairs ,read daily newspapers and maths upto class 12th level . try reading pratiyogita darpan regularly . so many preparation books are also available in the market. practice them .

As to face success in both these fields you need to have extensive preparation for the exam. Both these exams have huge competition as it offers a lucrative career. Candidates need to develop a habit of hard work and must be capable of time management. There are many books and reference guides available in the market which will guide students in the right path. You can also join in to a coaching class as to get well trained.

you can refer verbal and non verbal reasoning by RS agarwal to get through bank and railway exams..
and solve few previous year question papers..
