The Basic eligibility criteria required for B.tech admission:

i) You should have passed 12th with PCM group from recognized central/state board or school.

ii) You must have secured minimum of 50% marks in 12th standard (45% for ST/SC candidates)

Since you fulfil the above criteria, Hence you are fully eligible.

But you need to focus much more on B-Tech then, because most the companies have the job criteria that the applicant must have secured 60% or above in 10th,12th as well as in B-Tech.

After passing 12th with 50% marks you are eligible for B.Tech course.

Friend for admission in top college you have to qualify the A.I.E.E.E entrance exam.

A.I.E.E.E entrance exam is conducted by C.B.S.C once in a year.

ELIGIBILITY FOR A.I.E.E.E:-
> Pass 12th with Mon-medical stream (Physics, chemistry and Maths) with minimum 50% marks from recognized board.
For ST/SC candidate minimum 45% marks is require.
> Age should be above 17 year.
> Candidate must be citizen of India.
> There are total 3 attempts

Dear..

Yes you can do B.tech after getting 50% in your class 12th. The other eligibility criteria required to do B.ed is as follows :-

1. You must have maths, Physics and chemistry as your subject in class 12th.
2. You must have at least 45% or more marks to get the eligibility for the entrance exam of B.tech
3. There is no age limit and you can do this course at any stage of your career
4. Citizenship of any country does not matter here but yes the fees slightly vary as Indian Student has to pay less as compare to Foreign student

Procedure :-

As you are a 12th pass candidate then you should first of all prepare now for the entrance exam like AIEEE or IIT JEE. If you score well then half of your career related problem will be solved automatically.

You the have to get admission in any of the top college and continue study there and perform well

One thing i want to tell you is that Many companies do not hire candidate which have less then 60% marks in their through out career so you are not eligible for that but if you get into some good college like IIT or NIT then you can definitely get good job and a fruitful career.

Yes you can do btech as to get admission into btech you need to give the entrance test so then you can get into good college for it.

Dear Aspirant,

Yes you can do the Btech with any score in the 12th but the only thing is you need to score very high score in the engineering entrance exams.

Because now a days all the entrance exams are linked up with the 12th score so you need to achieve a high score in the Entrance exams in order to get a seat in the colleges.

So if you get a very high score in the exams then you can have a chance of getting the seats in the engineering colleges.

Or else it would become very hard to get a seat with the given percentage.

Because the 50% is very very less now a days so if you get the good score and a good rank in the Entrance exams then you can have a chance of admissions or else it is highly impossible.

Entrance exams are as follows:

IIT-JEE

AIEEE

Eamcet

(State exams)

And many colleges have their own entrance exams like SRM university has its own entrance exams.

Then if you get a high score or rank in the above exams then definitely you can get a good seat in the colleges.

No, sorry u can not do B.Tech after passing 12th with 50% in commerce stream.Because this stream is technical stream and in this stream you have PCM(Physics, Chemistry, Maths) subjects in your 12th class. These three subjects are most important for do B.Tech.
If you are passed 12th commerce then you are not applicable to give the entrance exam of B.Tech like IIT-JEE, AIEEE etc.

course can be done after 12th ( except engineering) are:-
can apply in medical entrance exams and get qualified
apply in agricultural universities,

can apply for Bsc in good collages
or get admitted in doing professional courses.....

Yes friend you can do B.Tech in the colleges except iit's as the eligible percent to appear for the the IIT-JEE exam which requires a minimum of 60% in the intermediate and few other deemed colleges which impose the requirement of more than 50%.You have more chances of getting a seat if you secure a good rank in the common entrance exam(CET).
At the time of placement you may face the problem of less percentage in the in the Intermediate as many of the good firms impose a minimum requirement of 60% at all levels of your education.But better you can join a small company in the beginning and later make a shift to the one you desire to join.

Hello Mr. 12th standard is very important to all professionals .

As it is turning point of life and therefore I would suggest to Reappear for 12th and score more than 65 %. Because there is no value of passing 12th in second class.

If you are a science student and taken combination as PCM then surely you can do Btech. Entrance ranking is based on 50% of written exam and 50% of entrance exam.

Yes you can do B.TECH, you are eligible for AIEEE.

Eligibility

The minimum academic qualification for appearing in AIEEE 2012 is that the candidate must have

so you are eligible
but gettin a placement in god companies wil be tough for you in future
so after btech you should try somethin else apart frm campus entries
and you should score exceptionally well in semesters to get a good impression in your carrier

okay fine!!
here is the ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA For every one in one go

NON-MEDICAL CANDIDATES can get into IIT-JEE with atleast 60% in PCM

MEDICAL CANDIDATES can also give exam like AIEEE to get into the various engineering cooges in India

COMMERCE Candidates cannot apply

atleast 60% marks for GENERAl candidates if they want to be eligible for IIT-JEE exam

for OBC it is also 60%

for SC/ST it is 50%

CONCLUSIONS

since you have less than 60% hence you cannot apply for the exam IIT-JEE

You can apply for AIEEE

You canot apply for BITS-PILANI since for that you need to have 80% in XII class

Dear pal,
the duration of the bachelor degree in technology or engineering is three years and the aspirant are admitted into th the college either based on the marks in 2 or in the entrance exam .
The eligibility required for doing engineering is that you should have completed 2 with mathematics, physics and chemistry as their subject. Or they should have completed diploma from university recognised by AICTE .
The various entrance exam are AIEEE, IIT JEE, BITSAT etc. At the same time the eligibility for all the exam vary with respect to the minimum percentage. Aspirants are admitted to the colleges under the state government through the counselling conducted by them which is either through entrance exam or through the marks secured in subjects physics, chemistry and mathematics. Whatever the case may be you need to have good knowledge in the above subject so that you can get good marks and enter into good stream.

Hello don't tensed as you passed 12th with PCM with additional subject computer science, is one of the best combination in 12th standard.

-> This will not be good decision for you to drop for one year. It will better for you to
take admission in any of the nearby good college .

-> After 12th with such great combination there are so many option where you can get
admission any of the following :

1. Can go for Hon-ours graduate degree choosing any of the following four subject.
2. Prepare for IIT JEE or AIEEE and then go for B.Tech. degree.
3. BCA is one of the option,
4. BBA is another option to you,

I suggest you to go for option 1 or 2 as you wish.

B.Tech is the Bachelor in Technology course which is a full time 4 year graduation program which has got specializations like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical etc...

Now there are certain Eligibility Conditions ::

1. You should be a minimum 12th pass from a recognized school in India with a minimum 60% aggregate in it

2. You must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects to study B.Tech further.

Now some of the most important Engineering Entrances in our country are the

IIT JEE
DCE CEE
WB JEE
AIEEE
BITSAT
UPTU

and many more...

Now coming to your query, if you can do B.Tech with just 50% aggregate, I am really sorry to say that you cannot apply in any of the Engineering Entrances ever.

All these are related to the government rules and so you cannot apply in them.

You can surely take admission in any of the private colleges in India like Amity, LPU, Manipal, Techno India, Jaypee, SRM, etc...

No dear,

It is very sad to say that you are not eligible to have B.E or B.TECH.

Minimum criteria of any entrance exam for persuing B.E or B.Tech is 45% in physics, chemistry and Math for the general category.

It is 40% in physics , Chemistry and Math for sc, st obc etc....

If you belongs to this catagories, then only there will be a chance of persuing B.Tech or B.E.

If you are in general catagory, then it will be not possible to you for persuing B.Tech or B.E.

Yes, my friend you can do B.tech after completion of 12th with 50% marks.

Eligibility for B.tech course:-

1.candidate must have complete the 12th in physics , chemistry and maths.

2.candidate must have secure 45% marks in 12th to appear for WB-JEE exam..
For AIEEE exam one has to secure 50% marks in 12th.
For IIT-JEE exam one has to secure 60% marks in 12th..

3.Age should not be more than 25 years.
For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years, and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.

4.Candidate must be a citizen of India.

These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.
As you have secure 50% marks in 12th then you are eligible for B.tech course.
You have to qualify in entrance exams like- IIT-JEE/WB-JEE/AIEEE etc..
