After graduation/B.Tech you can apply for I.P.S exam. I.P.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year. Age should be in between 21-30 year. For ST/SC candidate age should be in between 21-33 year. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs ) Educational Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification. so you are eligible for IPS exam. all the best |

For UPSC IPS Examination minimum eligibility is only graduation in any subject with 60 % marks from a regonised institute / university. For UPSC IPS Examination - 10th & 12th standard percentage doesn't matter. Good Bye |

Only the graduation score is considered as part of the educational qualification required. However it is a must that you should have pursued the course from a recognised institute. There is minimum of 21 year age requirement. Make sure to visit the UPSC site for more details. |

Any candidate who is cleared his graduated can appear in this exam. but please ensure that from which you get your degree is government recognised. And slect the subject and prepare for the exam. |
