Re: What exams I can appear while doing Electrical engineering? hi if you are from the electrical engineering stream you have a wide variety of options available for you. If you want to make your career in the engineering stream, you have many jobs available both in the government and the private sector. You can do your m.tech and you can also go on for the MBA stream if you want. If you want to change your field then you can apply for the banking sector and the civil services examination also. There are various goverment jobs in the field of Electrical Engineering 1.you can apply in Indian military(Army Navy and airforce ) 2. you can also apply for other public sectors like BHEL,BEL,ONGC,NTPC etc. 3. An electrical engineer can also apply in Indian railway. there are various jobs in private companies. like vedanta tata tech TCS infosys etc |

Re: What exams I can appear while doing Electrical engineering? In the final year many students prepare for different exams according to their ambitions and and to fulfill their dreams in life. Some exams for which most of the students prepare are: 1. GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering): Students take this exams to get their M.Tech. degree from some IIT institute. 2. IAS(Indian Administrative Services): Students take this exam to get in to administrative services and become an IAS officer which is the most reputed job in India. 3. IES(Indian Engineering Services): As you are a student of Electrical engineering which is a core branch so you can also opt for an IES. The above two exams are conducted by UPSC. 4. CAT: You can also appear for CAT in case you want to do MBA. 5. GRE: You can take this exam if you want to do M.S from abroad. These are the main exams that an engineering student thinks of doing after his B.Tech. |

Re: What exams I can appear while doing Electrical engineering? There are quite a few exams you can appear for. You can choose to appear any of the UPSC exam. There are exams like Civil Service, Engineering Service Exam etc. Also you have the option to appear for the Bank PO exams. If interested in pursuing further studies GATE and CAT exams are also there. Choose based on the career aspirations. |
