Hi frend,
Mechanical engginering is termed as mother of all branches. A student persuing mechanical engg. can go for many coarses from science to management. Mechanical corelates folowing subjects and there aplications.
Design
Mechanics
Mechatronics
Kinamitics
kinatics
Thermodynamic
Fluid power
Neumatics
Refregeration and AC
Production
Automobile
Robotics.

Some of the coarses generaly reffer for mechanical students are.
1 Auto CAD
2 CAD CAM
3 CATIA
4 ProE
5 HYPERMES
6 SAP
7 Robotics
8 CNC
9 Automation

Good luck.

Re: How many courses are related to Mechanical Engineering?

Mechanical Engineering is core branch and there are lots of specialized courses that you can do, like:

Mechanics,
Kinematics,
Tribology,
Nanotechnology,
Structural Analysis,
Rapid Prototyping,
Production Engineering,
Mechatronics And Robotics,
Micro Electro Mechanical Systems,
Thermodynamics And Thermo-Science,
Turbomachinery and Combustion Systems,
Computer-Aided Design and Manufacturing,
Computational Fluid Dynamics and Acoustics.

So you can do any of the above courses to add weight age to your profile....
