General Eligibility Criteria for PSU*:-

1) The minimum 60% marks in graduation, 10th and 12th.*
2) There are no any backlog at the time of appearing of exam.
3) There are no more then two year gap in the academic year.

dear friend,

PSU i.e Public Sector Undertaking exam is vary from company to company.
For maximum PSU exam required at least 60% marks in graduation.
A engineering graduate student can apply for the Job in Bhel, ONGC, HPCL, NTPC etc.*

psu exam has some criteria ...
*b.e/b.sc/b.tech- degree required
with more than 60% mark in in aggregate .
*minimum cutoff marks of b.tech varies for different psu exam like general category 60 %- 70 % & reserve category 50 % - 60 %.
under this there are two papers in writting exam general apptitude & technical apptitude .

Minimum Eligibility:

1:You should have B.E. /B.Tech. /B.Sc. in Engg. Degree required

2:If you are a final-year students, the final result of 8th semester and mark-sheets must be presented at the time of interview.

3:minimum required number varies for different PSUs companies generally,60%-70% for general and 50%-60% for the SC/ST/OBC/PH.

4:PSUs allow for two years gap.

Some high profiled PSUs are:

HAL (Hindustan Aeronautics Limited) needs minimum 65% marks for General/ OBC and minimum of 55% Marks for SC/ST

HPCL(Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited) needs minimum 60% marks for General/ OBC and minimum of 50% Marks for SC/ST

NTPC(National Thermal Power Corporation ) needs minimum 60% marks for General/ OBC and minimum of 50% Marks for SC/ST

60%to 70% should be the percentage for General Category and 50% to 60% for reserved category in B.Tech for PSU exam. Plz try to keep 70% aggregate otherwise 60% is enough.

Some psu company like
BHEL
NTPC
BEL
ISRO
DRDO they require aggregate 65 percent
and some other psu company also require 70 percent marks for their entrance test.

hi....generally an first class is sufficient to write the public sector examination ,you can write thexamination if you have completed your graduation or if you are in the final year of your graduation ,
right now there is an notification of some of the psus i am attching them so that you can apply for them ,you can find the various elegibility rules and also the procedure of the application of the examination,these notifications are of sail,ongc and ecil

The minimum percentage reuired in B.tech for PSUs is 60%-65%. that means all PSUs ask for %age between this. For backward classes it is 55%-60%.

General requirements:

• B.E. /B.Tech. /B.Sc.(Engg.) – Degree required

• For final-year students, the final result of 8th semester and mark-sheets must be presented at the time of interview.

• Minimum cut-off % of B.Tech varies for different PSUs Gen. Category:-60%-70%; Reserved Category:-50%-60%.

• Some PSUs allow only present final year students and last two year pass-outs. e.g. NTPC

For dates you have to refer to this link and For Exam Syllabus or Paper Pattern for HPCL Officer

Exam Introduction :- Students can Work in Public cum Government jobs which is under PSU's i.e Public Sector Undertaking.

Papers & Pattern :- The Written Exam Consists of Two Parts,General Aptitude & Technical Aptitude. General aptitude include Intellectual Potential test, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language.
